7iDP MTB Helmets and Protection now available in South Africa

7iDP, the award-winning protection brand as used by Sam Hill and other world-class athletes, is now available to South African riders.

The 7iDP range of helmets, knee, elbow, glove, body and youth MTB protection today launched into the South African mountain bike market with Cape Cycle Systems.
Established in 2011 in Colorado, the 7iDP product range was developed through testing and continued intensive R&D on the global mountain bike scene. Working with riders such as multiple World Champion and mountain bike phenom Sam Hill, 7iDP focuses on utilizing new materials and manufacturing techniques to deliver lightweight performance protection for racers and riders alike. The goal at 7iDP is to create innovative protection products and get them to market at a price all riders can benefit from. The seven founding members of 7iDP have a combined 65 years of working experience in MTB protection and the design team rides every week, continually testing and developing products. Thanks to this, the brand is well known for its fresh approach to protection.
“South Africa is experiencing sustained growth in the Trail, Enduro, eMTB, Dirt Jump and Downhill MTB segments,” said Warren Lamb, General Manager of Cape Cycles. “Since 7iDP is a world leader in MTB protection its inclusion into our distribution channels to offer it to riders across the country, along with the other leading brands in our portfolio, makes perfect sense.”
THE RANGE
The 7iDP knee pad range includes 8 different options, catering for a range of protection levels – everything from light trail riding through to big mountain sending. It also includes two youth-specific options. Riders have five elbow pads to choose from; four different full-face helmet models; two half-shell helmets; two body protection, shorts and gloves.
