New Titan Racing Road Bike range – Official Release

Earlier this year Titan Racing debuted their new Switch gravel bike and Valerian road bike. Both are available in two variants, the Pro and the Elite models. Here is the official release with all the details on the Valerian from Titan Racing.

Titan Racing’s Valerian PRO vs. Valerian Elite model

The Valerian Pro is Titan Racing’s answer to a fast, lightweight bike dedicated to racing. From first looks, the Valerian Pro really is eye-catching with its’ bold racing red colorway. The Valerian Elite model has a decidedly premium look with its’ stealth black-on-black decals and colorway. The internal cable routing, integrated seat clamp, and overall clean design lines complete what is a very sleek looking bike. The big difference between the two models is the choice of groupset; the Pro being spec’d with the Shimano Ultegra and the Elite with the Shimano 105.

The same carbon layup is shared across the Pro and Elite models of the Valerian. The combined weight for frame and fork is around 1500 grams. Regarding the geometry, the Valerian sports a slightly steeper head angle at 71 degrees which adds to the bikes overall agility and racer feel. The frame presents a solid and stiff ride without any noticeable energy-sapping flex.

On the professional race scene, the Valley Electrical Titan Racing Team has already racked up some impressive results on the Valerian, including multiple victories. Tiffany Keep’s latest achievements on the bike include winning the Knysna 116km Road Race in June and the USSA 2019 event last week in the Cape. https://titanracingbikes.com/ambassodor-valley-electrical-titan-racing-team

The Valerian Pro is spec’d with a pro-level raceready groupset; the Shimano Ultegra with Ultegra hydraulic discs. The wheelset on the Pro is also from Shimano, a RS170 disc wheelset that complements the build nicely. The saddle and handlebars are in house Titan Racing parts and the Pro is fitted with a carbon fiber seat post. As with all of Titan Racings’ bikes, the Valerian is sold with a unique 5 Year Multi-User Warranty. (https://titanracingbikes.com/5-year-multi-user-warranty/)
