Last month the UCI released the revised 2020 Mountain Bike World Cup calendar. Here’s what to expect.
The season kicks off in early September and runs until the end of October. The UCI has chosen six venues, three of which will host double rounds of racing. There will be seven rounds of Downhill racing in total, with Cross-Country racers now having just five rounds. Lousã in Portugal is the only new venue and hosts the final round of the Downhill. Lenzerheide had previously been scheduled to run as an XCO only round, however, Downhill has now been added. The World Championships for Cross-Country and Downhill will be in Leogang, Austria.
