Keira Duncan is the 2025 National Enduro Champion and will be lining up for round five of the Enduro World Cup in Italy this weekend. His weapon of choice for the two days of racing is the 170mm PYGA Slakline HP4. Made in South Africa, this is a bike that Keira has spent many hundreds of hours racing and riding, in Europe and at home, to help PYGA develop it.
Keira is 1,62m tall and rides a size smallSlakline HP4 high-pivot aluminum bike.Starting with the cockpit, Keira runs a trimmed Leatt 38mm riser bar with a Leatt 40mm stem, in 35mm clamp size. To reduce arm pump and hand fatigue, Keira runs the Thick Grips by OneUp Components.Suspension is by DVO and this is a 170 bike, that’s front and rear. The DVO Onyx D1 fork runs 63psi and the DVO Topaz 3 shock has 108psi.The carbon South Industries DH29 wheels are made in the Western Cape and laced to a set of Deed hubs.He uses the Continental Kryptotal tyres with 22psi front and 27psi rear.Of course, there’s a real chance of flats so under the top tube is a loaded plug and CO2.As far as tyre inserts go, Keira runs a Panzer, but only in the rear wheel. The drivetrain is by SRAM and it’s a mechanical GX, 12-speed with 165mm SRAM Descendant cranksand he stomps on Crankbrothers Mallet pedals.Strapped to the downtube is a tube and if you are reaching for that it’s usually a sign of a real bad day in the office. Keira also carries a multi tool and 10ml of chain lube.Saddle is by Specialized, there’s a few plugs taped to the rails and being on the shorter side Keira gets away with a very short dropper – a 125mm V2 from OneUp Components. How about that CNC’ed, rocker arm goodness!Keira uses SRAM Code RSC brakes with 203mm rotors by Galfer.
We asked Keira what part of his bike setup he is most particular about: “Tyre pressures, they have to be right for optimal traction. Overall, I like to get my bike setup to be as comfotable as possible and then I leave it most of the time. On the odd occasion, I might change rebound and compression, slightly, for different terrain.” //
