Déjà vu in Austria as the Canadians Hemstreet and Goldstone snatch victories, again.

It’s two wins on the trot for the young Canadians Gracey Hemstreet and Jackson Goldstone as they aced the iconic Leogang Downhill course today. Gracey backed up her win in Loudenvielle proving it was not a one-off victory and she is now a real force on the global racing scene. For Jackson, this win signals his full recovery from ACL injury and that he too, is a contender for the 2025 series title.

For the Downhill schedule, it was three days of near-perfect weather in Leogang.

In the Elite Women’s Race, Gracey Hemstreet (Norco) delivered another technical masterclass on the steep lower section of the course to grab her second World Cup win. She pushed hard up top, but it was in the lower woods where she really let it roll to claim another win. Anna Newkirk (Frameworks) was the next-best rider, finishing just under two seconds behind. She looked strong through the top section but couldn’t quite match Hemstreet’s pace through the trees. Home favorite Vali Höll’s (YT) rounded out the podium, in third. In the Junior Women’s Race, South Africa’s Arielle Behr placed 14th in qualifying. After three rounds Gracey now leads the series. Catch the highlights below.

In the Elite Men’s Race Jackson Goldstone (Santa Cruz) delivered another incredible run to top the podium again. Loic Bruni (Specialized) placed second and was within 0.059 seconds of Goldstone’s time winning time. Young German, Henri Kiefer (Canyon) claimed his first Elite podium with a brilliant ride to third place. The only South African in the race, privateer rider Rory Kirk placed 53rd in Q2. Bruni now holds the series lead as the riders enjoy a weekend off before heading to Val di Sole in Italy for round four of the series. Catch the highlights below.
