The race that nearly wasn’t!

Avoiding a weather washout the final round of the 2023 WC Enduro series was moved a day earlier and riders were treated to trail conditions that couldn’t have been better.

With another wild storm forecast for Sunday, the race came close to being canceled – by the provincial authorities. However, being a double-header event that attracted riders from across the country, the volunteer organizer crew acted quickly and spent Friday on the mountain getting the stages, timing equipment and admin ready to race a day early. Here’s your photo epic of the Jonkershoek National & Western Cape Enduro rally.
