More Crank Length Options & new Aero Brakes from SRAM

2026 has kicked off and SRAM is banging out freshies for Road, TT and Triathlon rigs.

With availability scheduled for February, SRAM have added shorter cranks to their range topping RED groupset. Also new, Time Trial and Triathlon specialists can slip through the wind quicker with the brand’s all-new, aero brakes.

The RED crank range now includes 150 and 155mm options.

There’s no doubt about it, shorter cranks are trending. For many, it’s their efficiency and comfort that is appealing – particularly when arched over into a flat back and aero-like position on the bike. We’ve also seen through a couple seasons of World Tour racing, a few of the world’s best have been using them. Because of this, SRAM has now added a 150 and 155mm crank length to their RED lineup. The full size curve is now Available in 150, 155, 160, 165, 167.5, 170, 172.5, and 175 mm lengths.

There’s no indication on just how much faster the new brakes are but they certainly look sleek.

Also new are three aero brake options for the RED, Force and Rival groupsets. Naturally these levers are for Time Trial and Triathlon disciplines and they marry to the existing lineup of calipers.

Using the brand’s ‘Stealth-a-majig connector’ word is that initial setup is fast and easy.

Both the RED and Force aero brakes have textured carbon levers for better finger grip. All three models feature reach adjust.

All the new brakes have reach adjust to customize fit for most hand sizes.
