Impressions
In a nutshell, Motul Brake Cleaner is easy-to-use and does exactly what it is supposed to. It’s actually quite surprising how much residue it manages to pull out of a seemingly clean set of pads and rotors. After a clean, the brakes are noticeably more powerful. As part of this review I also repeated the above cleaning process on a road bike and it completely eliminated the brake squeal. I like the fact that it evaporates quickly so you can reinstall everything immediately and that its a water-based formula that is solvent-free making it more planet and human-friendly. Great product!
