Specialized releases details on Levo 4
With local availability set for late April/ early May, Specialized has released details on the fourth generation Levo.
There will be four models in the lineup: S-Works Levo at R295 000, Levo Pro Carbon at R240 000, Levo Expert at R200 000 and the Levo Comp Carbon has a R160 000 price tag, including tariffs and VAT. The Wattage Cottage door on the side of the downtube provides easy battery access and first-of-its-kind e-MTB SWAT storage. The Levo 4’s sleek layout minimizes visual mass in the bottom bracket area. Specialized pioneered internal downtube storage, and now we bring it to you first on an e-MTB. Secured above the battery magnetically, the SWAT bag holds trailside essentials like a tube and CO2. Swap in the smaller aftermarket 600Wh battery and boom, extra space for a jacket or other gear. No bike frame has ever packed so much storage. Clean, clever, and ready to roll.

Wheel rate is the force at the wheel needed to compress the suspension as it moves through the travel, combining spring rate and leverage rate into a single, rider-relevant measure. How GENIE Works
GENIE + FOX FLOAT X = Ultimate Suspension Performance
GENIE is a dual air spring system. The massive air volume of two connected air chambers creates a flatter spring curve for the first 70% of the shock’s stroke, ensuring control and responsiveness. At the final 30% of the stroke, the outer chamber closes automatically, decreasing air volume, which increases the progressive nature of the spring rate to absorb big impact and avoid bottom-outs.
The FOX FLOAT X features an external reservoir, enhancing suspension performance with increased oil volume and improved bump sensitivity with precise compression and rebound damping that enable ultimate control. A two-position lever allows seamless toggling between open and firm modes. As a standard metric shock, it enables compatibility with any 210mm x 55mm aftermarket shock.
Advanced Geometry
Best ride out of the box, with options to adjust for those who like to tune. The size S4 Levo, in stock settings runs a 480mm reach, 64.5-degree head angle, 350mm BB height, 435mm chainstays and a 77-degree seat tube angle.

Super Charger
The Levo 4 comes with an excellent 5 amp, 200 watt charger. If you want to charge faster than any bike on the planet, we offer an aftermarket 12 amp, 700 watt Smart Charger. It charges the 840Wh battery from 0-80% in less than one hour. It also offers an Eco mode for energy efficient charging. The charge-to-80% function increases battery life when storing your Levo 4, or when a full charge is not needed.

Dynamic Micro Tune
Dynamic Micro Tune is like Micro Tune, but with on-demand full-power support. Set assist in 10% increments: 10/100, 20/100, 30/100, all the way up. Cruise efficiently at a lower support level, but when you pedal hard, it instantly and automatically jumps to 100% support for unexpected climbs or sneak attacks from your riding buddy. Conserve battery when you can, unleash full power when you need. It’s like having cruise control and nitro boost in one.
