RockShox releases new SID SL and Reba Gold XC forks
As part of their 2026 XC fork lineup, RockShox announced a pretty significant update to the SID SL and released details on an all-new, wallet-friendly, Reba Gold fork.
The SID, or “Superlight Integrated Design” is the brands high-performance cross-country fork and it’s available in either a 32 or 35mm stanchion size. The 32mm chassis is known as the SID SL and it’s this model that has been revamped for 2026. Also new to the lineup is the Reba Gold, which is pegged into a more wallet-friendly bracket.
Travel is unchanged on the new SID SL and so it is still available as a 100mm or 110mm option. It runs on the Charger Race Day 2 Damper that is available as a 2P (Open/Lock), 3P (Open, Pedal, Lock) or with the electronic damper known as Flight Attendant.
The SID SL has a new air spring, new chassis, more tyre clearance and is now available in the Electric Red Signature colourway. The Flight Attendant model of SID SL now also features a ‘fork-only’ update. At 1390 grams for the 3P model, it appears the SID SL is still the lightest 110mm fork on the market. The new chassis allows for more bushing overlap and lower friction throughout travel. There’s also more tyre clearance which is now up to 2.4″.
Also new from RockShox today is the Reba Gold. It’s a 35mm stanchion fork, available for 27.5-inch and 29-inch wheels in 100, 110, 120 and 130mm travel options. The Reba Gold has a highly-tunable air spring and is compatible with either a Twistloc or OneLoc remote lockout. Although it’s not available as an aftermarket product, an ABS compatible version of Reba Gold has also been announced. //
